2023 Blazing Swan: Poseidon’s Flame - OUR EXPERIENCE
What is Blazing Swan? Think about Burning Man, just smaller and with a bit more vegetation.
It's a place where you are allowed, and encouraged, to let go of all the things that are stopping you from being your most authentic you. It's a place that promotes gifting and trade without money. It's a community of like minded people creating experiences within an experience for a long, intense week.
Blazing Swan is an event I wanted to attend for years and once I finally did get my hands on a ticket in 2020, the world shut down. This year a friend reached over in december asking me if I wanted to join Danceopia crew for the event. My girlfriend and I booked within one hour. Although the weather was against us for a couple of days, the event was spectacular, from the crews to the installations and each single event that happened there. Having a roof top tent with everything we needed inside of the car helped a lot in the one day the sky poured down and the whole campground was flooded. We arrived one day before the event started and we left on the last day for a full week of community based experience.
