WELCOME to COUNTRY is a sacred and traditional Aboriginal opening of Festival in which the elders of the land give their blessing and goodwill to celebration with the use of song, dance, story and smoke to cleanse and ward off bad spirits. This Burning Seed Australia 2015 video captures this special celebration together with the Theme Camps and the burning of the Effigy.
