Aurora is a six-day, five-night participatory Burning event in Southern Tasmania. This coming November, we invite you to play, create, and connect at our stunning site in Buckland.

An Aurora is a dance of light across the sky, born when charged energy meets the Earth’s magnetic field. Our event mirrors that magic - an unpredictable, organic convergence of community, artistry, and radical self-expression. What will YOU bring to the light this year?

A Burn is co-created by its participants - built, shared, celebrated, and then returned to nothing by all of us together. There are no vendors, no advertising, no curated program. There is only you, me, and the gifts we share.

You are responsible for your own survival: food, water, shelter, fuel, and basic first aid. Together, we are responsible for the collective experience and the success of Aurora. This is a space for radical participation, gifting, and community - and it only works because YOU make it happen.
